History of Pantiles Lodge

Established and practising an uninterrupted commitment to Freemasonry, the Pantiles Lodge was consecrated on 11th May 1887 and was proud to celebrate its 125th Year in 2012, the anniversary meeting was honoured by the presence of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for the Masonic Province of West Kent accompanied by a delegation of senior Provincial Officers and many personal guests.

Pantiles Lodge was originally founded by a group of Tunbridge Wells businessmen and retailers and has historically always met on prescribed Wednesday afternoons, coinciding therefore with Wednesday half-day trading.

Continuously evolving over the years, Pantiles Lodge is now proud to acknowledge that the vocations and back grounds of the current membership are completely diverse in nature.
